She Helps Children "Tune In," Continued
A SCHOLARSHIP TO LAW STUDENT Clifford Roberts was
presented by University of Georgia collegians as part of
their Founders Day celebration. The $300 scholarship was
presented in memory of Margaret Ann Towson, a chapter
member who died in an automobile accident. Her mother,
Mrs. W. M. Towson, second from left, made the presentation
along with chapter president Beth Hardin, left, and Marlene
Towson Hazlett, a Delta lota alumna who is Margaret Ann
Towson's sister and administrator of the scholarship fund.
Mr. Roberts' daughter, Desa, second from right, accom-
panied her father, who is blind, to the presentation.
A "CELEBRATION OF SPRING" was the title for an Easter
party given for 18 children from the Community Center for
the Blind by Delta Gammas at the University of the Pacific.
Dana Ruxton enjoyed the sing-a-long with a student, left
photo, and Tami Duncan and Margie Reilly give a clue to
another student in a telephone game, right photo.
