The University of Connecticut became Delta Gamma's
114th collegiate location as Epsilon Pi chapter was installed

been pledged on March 26 when 29 students participated
incess
in the ceremony conducted by collegians from Rho chapter,
Syracuse University.

perfect ending to an exiciting day. Patty Danielson served
as toastmistress and also presented the membership certifi-
cates; Dawn Gehrke and Jane Spalding presented greetings
and gifts from Delta Gammas across the country. Fra-
ternity President Judith Van Scoyk Waymire joined the
team for the reception and banquet where she presented
the charter to Joan Bartosewicz and gave the installation
charge. Director of Student Activities Barry Wilson ex-
tended warm greetings from the school.
Special surprises came when the collegians dazzled the
audience with two songs from their fall rush skit.
Of special note, also, was the donation of a president's
pin from Hartford alumna Mindel Harris Bordon, Rho-
Syracuse. Although unable to attend the banquet, the
Greater Hartford Alumnae Association honored Mrs. Bor-
don by announcing her as a recipient of the Delta Gamma
Stellar Award for her many years of service to the group.
