Leadership School, 1967
LEADERSHIP
SCHOOL
1967, June 16 through 23, will
offer leadership training and
guidance for the Fraternity
leaders - the collegiate presidents, province, Fraternity collegiate
and alumnx program chairmen. Since expenses are paid for those
attending, being able to attend the school is a prerequisite to ac-
cepting the office of president of a collegiate chapter. The school
will be under the direction of Council members, assisted by
speakers and specialists in leadership techniques and aids. Leader-
ship will be discussed in re-
lation to the needs of today's
collegians and the chapter as
a whole. Training for the presi-
dent gives direction in pro-
gramming to meet chapter
needs, working with the Execu-
tive Board and alumnx, and
other such areas of interest and
import. The Leadership School
"students" will be living in
dormitories on the Ohio State
University campus in Colum-
bus, Ohio, and meeting at the
Student Union. The agenda
will include a visit to Execu-
tive Offices SO that those at-
tending may familiarize them-
selves with the Offices' facilities and services. Featured speakers
will be Dean Doris Seward from the University of Kentucky, and
Associate Dean of Women Ruth Weimer from Ohio State. This
is the third gathering of Delta Gammas for the purpose of leader-
ship training and discussion, and with each school the praises and
the results give proof to the school's ability to assist Delta
Gamma's officers in leading with vision.
