Elizabeth Beach was born on September 6, 1924. She attended the University of Kansas, where she was a member of Beta Kappa chapter and graduated with a degree in journalism. She served as Delta Gamma Secretary-Treasurer from 1974 to 1978 before being elected Delta Gamma president in 1978. She served until 1982.
Elizabeth Beach Norris was also a lifelong parishioner at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Kansas City, Missouri, where she served on the Altar Guild and as a volunteer in the Simply Divine gift shop. She was honored for her years of service to Delta Gamma by having a scholarship established in her name.
